About SnapMark
Mark up a screenshot in seconds, without uploading it anywhere.
SnapMark is for the moment you need to point at something in an image — circle the broken button, arrow the confusing menu, label the bit that matters — and every tool you can think of wants you to make an account first. Paste your screenshot straight in from the clipboard and start drawing.
You get the small set of tools that annotation actually needs: rectangles for framing a region, arrows for pointing, and text for labelling, each in a palette of colours picked to stay legible against typical screenshots. Shapes stay editable after you draw them — select one to move it, resize it, or change its colour and stroke width.
Nothing leaves your machine. The image is never uploaded, because there is no server to upload it to; the whole editor runs in your browser and the finished annotation downloads straight back to your computer as a PNG. That makes it safe for screenshots you would not want to hand to a third-party service — internal dashboards, invoices, anything with a customer's name on it.
How to play
- Paste an image from your clipboard to load it onto the canvas.
- Pick rectangle, arrow or text from the toolbar and drag on the image to draw.
- Switch to the select tool to move or reshape anything you have already drawn, and adjust its colour and stroke in the properties panel.
- Export when you are done to download the annotated image as a PNG.
SnapMark is free to use and runs entirely in your browser. See the other experiments on cffy.in.
